Perge seemed to be growing, that is: during a number of visits in a few consecutive years I noticed a large area that first time around was still buried, was being excavated, and seemed to be better reconstructed each time. I not only reconnoitred that area, but went further, and noticed a rarely visited necropolis. Sarcophagi stood in near-mint condition. In February 2015 I did some more exploration, and hit upon so much that I decided to give the necropolis a sub-gallery of its own. I am afraid currently I have no information concerning who was buried, when and during what period.
