Merzifon Kara Mustapha Mosque

I found slides from over 15 years ago that I could not locate on my site, so I probably never published them. I scanned and edited them in 2018. They are almost exclusively of a mosque (Kara mustafa paşa camii) in Merzifon, a town at some 25 kilometers from Amasya. It is renowned because the şadırvan in the courtyard has been painted with scenes that one rarely will see elsewhere.

I show them here as I have no other pictures, and Amasya is the nearest town. In my Istanbul site I have pictures of a mosque that is called Merzifonlu Kara Mustapha Pasha

I think you mean when I took them. I probably travelled from Amasya, then it would be 1997. Maybe one year later, when I was in Samsun.
