I use the Pbase geo-mapping facility to indicate where I took my pictures. If there is "View map" under a picture, you can click there and be transported to a map with the location where the picture was taken (approximately, some tags are more precise than others). You will see some other pictures in that gallery and sometimes from other galleries. Clicking on a picture will show it, clicking on the name of the picture will transport you to the gallery. Do some experimenting. Please zoom in and out. Depending on the zoom ratio, you will see more pictures or see them on a more precise location. For instance: Istanbul pictures are first shown as one group. Getting closer will show I took pictures all over the city. The direct link to a map of my pictures is at http://maps.pbase.com/dosseman . You sometimes must wait a few seconds for the map to load (even with fast internet). I started using gps on my camera in 2009, so from then on map view is on more often. I sometimes leave the thing at home, though, and due to reflections (and my haste) it sometimes indicates a more or less wrong location.
