It was built by Lala Pasha in H. 977 (AD 1596). The mosque has a square plan and a single dome. In the narthex of the building, there are four domes carried by four pointed arches on five marble columns. To the left of the mosque is Lala Pasha's tomb in the garden. The mosque is in a big garden. There is an inscription to the left of the entrance to the garden wall. The structure is covered with an octagonal pulley dome. The harim part is square planned. The transition to the dome is provided by pendants. The building was built using the brick beam wall technique.
