On the picture: The Muradiye Camii (or: II.Murad Camii) – mosque of Murad II – is the last royal mosque of Bursa (i.e. ordered by a ruling sultan).
The ground plan of this mosque is similar to that of the Orhan Camii (rebuilt in 1417): Bursa-type (a reverse-T congregation hall), with a 31 m wide porch on the north side. The latter is a nice example of decorative Ottoman
brick architecture.
