i like the street which is "maltepe avenue" on the east of this street, where i lived once when i was a teen, and have various memories. There were many upper scale gazinos ( night clubs, with women for rich similar to strip clubs in west).i wonder if "Yakut" gazino still there. i haven't have a chance to go those but i still remember the rtyhms of the loud music coming from those places all day long, and faces of some of the pretty women working in those clubs, even many years past.

Hi Dick, I hope you don't mind me writing a little bit information about the places in your photos. As I grew up in Ankara I can not help myself. :). This is the intersection of Ataturk Boulvard and Ziya Gokalp Caddesi in the downtown area named Kizilay, heart of Ankara.
