This is part of the central building of the Ihasiye Şerafhan Medresesi, dating to 1429 according to my notes. As a matter of fact it's a whole complex of several graves and a central building, which is the medrese or Koran School you see here. My September 2005 visit took place on a day that seemed an "All Saints' Day" with many people visiting thes age old graves. I use this comment for all pictures of the series, hoping they explain themselves. You will see some graves are rather open, others fully covered. The medrese building was closed, housing some cultural directorate.
