Shortly before the old road joins the new one (at Ersizlerdere, "the village of the bachelors") one can descend a bit further and cross a stream. From then on you can climb a steep hill, with another nice village on it. So that's what we'll do.

At some point a shortcut takes you acros the field of the people who live here. It's paradise there. A wide field with lots of shady trees, some marshy land, all sorts of grain and vegetables are grown. The dog that used to come out and bark at me seems to think "there he is again, same as last year" and doesn't bother me. The people just wave me on.
