This is another mosque, with decent decoration at the entrance and on one side a sarcophagus that has been restructured into a çesme, a place to drink water. On its top the decoration on the sarcophagus’ lid shows a man milking an animal and a shepherd.
On the picture: A shepherd playing the bagpipes, while grazing his sheep.
The Roman sarcophagus was brought over (in 1921) from the nearby Harmancık Hill, where a large Roman necropolis has been excavated.
