I love foxes. Near Amsterdam, where I live, some of them live in the “dunes” near the coast and became so tame you can hand feed them. At least, I did, and one would come when I called, running hundreds of meters to get to me and the food in time. It’s because they’re not hunted.

That seems to be different in Turkey. In Mardin people once told me they are good to eat. Horrid.
