More than 20 years before taking this picture I made a tour south of town to Harran and much more. At one spot the four of us (a taxi driver, an author of the lonely planet Turkey, a South Korean man and I) climbed a small hill in a stony dessert, and saw some Roman reliefs, hewn from the rock, of which I took some pictures (for one in the series click here, and with next and previous see some more. On this picture you see them slightly left of centre.
