Alanyurt mosaic
This mosaic, found in the Alanyurt village in the Siverek district of Şanlıurfa this mosaic from the 5-6h century was brought to the museum in 2013. It must have covered 63 square meters when complete, but only about 24 could be salvaged. The opus tessellatum technique was used in every part. Different geometric patterns arranged in panels together form the mosaic.
