I love tiles, and this is a fine set with scenes from Mecca with the central mosque and the Kaaba, I think the tents indicate it was a scene of the hac. It is from a mosque in Istanbul of which I have pictures, the Eyüp Cezari Kasım Paşa. I took pictures of the same scene, and must come to the conclusion that the ones there are a replica, the original would be this set.
The tiles are 18th century and are from the Tekfur kilns, local kilns in Istanbul located in (or around) an old Byzantine palace.
