Tahtakale Gate
It is between Saltanat Gate and Yer Gate. The word Taht-el kal’a, meaning “under the castle”, has become Tahtakale among the people. This gate does not directly enter the city, but a corridor between two walls.
The Tahtakale Gate, which was destroyed over time due to the opening of roads, was excavated in an archaeological excavation on site. In line with the research, the gate was rebuilt in 2012 by the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality in accordance with the original.
