It is the gate in the southeastern part of Bursa Hisarı. Its name is mentioned as “Bâb-ı Zemin” in historical documents from the Ottoman period. It is the first inner city wall gate that enters the city from the corridor between the two walls, approximately 100 meters away after entering the corridor between the two walls from Tahtakale Gate. The walls from Yerkapı to Zindan Gate, which is also 440 meters away from Fetih Gate, were built as double walls to strengthen the defense. It is seen that a lot of spolia material was used in the inner wall walls, which include an outer tower and an inner tower.
The gate was rebuilt in 2007 by Osmangazi Municipality in accordance with the original.
