The Geyve Han is a 15th century han, built by Hacı Ivaz Paşa, and presented as a gift to Sultan Celebi Mehmet. The han was intended to yield revenues for the Green Mosque.
It has been restored and houses several small shops. One of them is special, the Antika Saat Tamiri ve Restorasyonu of Ferhat Serhat Yurtdakal. Called Nadir with instead of the “a” a form that was used on the face of clocks for the Ottoman market (rather than Roman numerals). I took several pictures there, clocks are restored and when necessary parts are made anew with equipment one sees on some pictures.
