In 2018 I returned to what is one of my favourite buildings in the whole of Turkey. That’s mainly because of the fantastic quality of the cuerda secca tiles use in its interior. The outside is not very special, and the Iznik tiles on it are fine, but repetitive in their content. But inside it’s great. I took many picture, and only group them slightly, I suppose viewers can understand what they show by comparing them with earlier pictures and when needed see their captions.
I went a bit wild with my fish-eye, it sometimes offers different views to the usual that I like a lot. On the other extreme I this time went slightly more for details.
The outside of one of the windows. I was about to take a picture of each, but found they all have the same text. If someone could traanslate that it would be nice if he/she wrote a comment.
