In 2018 there was an exhibition about the hac, the pilgrimage to Mekka, in the Taksim Sanat Galerisi, a gallery at Taksim Square in an old buuilding, that regularly houses small exhitibions. I took only a few pictures, and think it's best to add them to the museum gallery because it's so closely connected to the Islam.

This is a document concerning a "pilgrimage proxy". It seems that it was possible to send someone in your place, but then you'd need proof that he (or she?) actually visited the proper places, this is a document of such proof.
