A monkey hunting a bird (or not)

This scene is interpreted by some as showing a monkey who tries to hunt birds that supposedly are in the tree. Others claim he reaches for the fruit. The former refer to the cage and bird he caries.

In 2016 I made poor pictures, the 2003 ones are better. Something wnet wrong with the white balance.
