I had grave doubt about the tiles on the cenotaphs you see here, they look very “Iznik” but also have a lack of luster that made me decide they were copies. On my own site I find an earlier picture (without the notices) in which I state they are 18th century copies. People told me the tiles on the walls were original, though.
The cenotaph to the right is that of the founder of the mosque, a mosque which was finished under his son, the cenotaph of him is in the middle. To the left of that is a cenotaph for hís son.
