Manavgat feb 2015 6035.jpg

The city hall. In front a series of (imaginary) busts of ancient rulers. I was surprised to find there were some Huns amongst them, for instance Attila. I could not find information connecting Manavgat to the Huns, and did find a discussion of the degree of relatedness of the Turkish and Hun languages (for some: yes, they were connected, for others: no, not at all).

It is mentioned Turks, Huns and Mongols on the Orkhun monuments from 8th. century. Inscriptions on these stones are Turkish with runic alphabets. These are related societies in Asia so their languages too. similar culture environment, geography, social life, traditions are common characteristics. Turkish, Tunguzic and Mongolian are relative and connected members from Altaic language family. Hun language is dead language but same geography and archeological and written evidences points contiguity
