Boyacıkulluğu bridge was built for Tüccar Hoca Sinan, a merchant, before 1443. It had an arch, thought to have been spanning 15-16 meters. A teacher built designed it. During a 1844 flood its piers collapsed and a new bridge was built, keeping the old name.
