Hat (called ‘taç’ = crown) of a Sheikh (turkish: Şeyh) of the Celveti Tarikatı, a Sufi Order founded in Bursa in the 15th century. It has a calligraphic inscription embroidered on top of it.
This piece must be several hundred of years old, considering the condition of the fabric, and the care which is usually shown to this kind of relics.
