This is the grave of Feyzi Efendi, a statesman, mathematician and architect, living under Selim III. Raised to the rank of Treasurer he was sent to the Dardanelles to strengthen the defences, but was executed when the British Navy passed through the Dardanelles on 19-2-1807. His gravestone was found in pieces in Kilitbahir Village and re-assembled in 1980.
