When leaving the bath into the direction of the sea one comes to the "Palaestra", a sporting are. I took some pictures as I walked to the sea. What I found very impressive was that under the floor one could sea how the whole area had been made level by supporting arches and stones. The Romans went to enormous lenghts to create level areas.
