The inscription on the minber (pulpit) inside the Allaeddin mosque. Dated 1178, and made from hardwood (walnut).
Except for the date, are also mentioned: the man who ordered it (Muhiddin Mesut Şah, a son of the Seljuk sultan Kılıçaslan II (1156-1192) and the skilled artisan who made it (‘Ebubekir oğlu Ibrahim Usta’ = Master Ibrahim, son of Ebubekir). The calligraphic script used is (Arabic) sülüs script.
