On the foreground: some remains of the little mosque, that was built in the 15th century, after the Christians had left the basilica church (around 1400) that had been built in the 6th century, using parts of the Roman construction.
Like many other sites in Turkey, this particular spot has a long and varied history of worship: Anatolian (Kybele & Men), Roman (Augustus and Rome), Christian and Islamic.
