Due to Hacı Bayram’s connection with the Ottoman power in its days of glorious expansion (see comment under the first pictures of the türbe/mausoleum), the large esplanade of the Hacı Bayram site is a privileged rallying point for political demonstrations of conservative/islamic/right-wing movements.
