This ‘Güdük Minare Camii’ (Mosque of the incomplete/short minaret) must be one of the earliest mosques built in Tokat. It was first established in the late 11th century, but was restored/rebuilt several times since. This house of prayer is not very large (18x10m), and consequently its ‘short’ minaret is maybe fitting the mosque, after all.
It is also called ‘Rüstem Çelebi Camii’ and lies close to the Alaca Mescid.
