The nicely decorated entrance to the mosque.
Constructed in 1374–75, this mosque is one of the oldest and most impressive works of architectural art remaining from the Anatolian beyliks (= Turcoman princedoms of Anatolia, 1250-1515).
It was restored to its former splendour in the period 1975-2005.
