A sarcophagus, I would guess second century or thereabout.
Fragment of a Sidamara type sarcophagus, 2nd-3th century AD.
Sidamara is an ancient site, located near the village of Ambarası Köyü (between Karaman and Ereğli/ancient Lykaonia). It gave its name to a particular type of very ornated Roman sarcophagi, since the find of a very large one found there (and now in the Istanbul Archeology Museum).
