The Bebekli Church (Church with child) with about 150 believers and at the time I visited a young priest from Bangalore (ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು). The church was built in 1880 and is dedicated to Saint Paul. The statue of the Virgin Mary on top is made of bronze. It was seen as representing a child, hence the name of the church. Since it is the only church it is visited by people from other Christian denominations also. It was shortly before Christmas, hence for a change a nativity scene.
