Mausoleum and prayer rooms in Ehmedek section of Alanya Castel. According to the seven - lined inscription, the structure was built in 1230 during the reign of Sultan Alaaddin Keykubat, by someone named Akşebe. There is no information on the identity of Akşebe, but probably he was one of the earliest heads of the castle. The building has a rectangular floor plan and consists of two sections covered by a red- brick dome. The two graves in the second section indicate that the structure was built as a small summer mosque (mescit). To the north-west of the mosque, there is a separate minaret resting on a stone base. The trunk of the cylindrical minaret is built of bricks and decorated with turquoise tiles and glazed bricks.
