Kathy, the D200 is a fine camera, and not that difficult to use. But any of the current crop of DSLR's could have taken a similar image. The D200 gives metering with manual focus Nikkors, which is why I bought it. RAW (NEF) plus post-processing is mostly required to get the best out of it. Use www.dpreview.com for more info.

Hi,
I am not a professional photographer yet I would like to buy a quality camera. Your images are with the Nikon D200 are wonderful. Do you think it would be impossible for an amateur to learn how to talk quality photos with this camera? You have much experience with its use.
