SMC Softball 09 vs Aquinas

SMC finished its 2009 Florida tour with a split against St. Thomas Aquinas, slapping STA 7-2 in the opener and then dropping a back-and-forth thriller 13-9 in game 2. MegO pitched all but one of the innings on the day, doing her best to keep a hard-hitting team at bay. She also had a HUGE 3-run triple in game 2 as the Purple Knights stormed back from a 6-0 deficit to score 7 runs in the fourth -- once again, refusing to give up in the face of adversity. Heather belted her first triple of the year, while MegO went 4-4 in game two and Lindsay had three hits on the day. Katelyn had 5 hits on the day, adding a pair of walks, two runs, and two rbi. SMC finishes Florida with a mark of 4-6 ... Nice work, Knights!!
