SMC had promising starts to both games vs Merrimack -- jumping out 4-0 after 3 in game one and 1-0 in game two, but couldn't contain Merrimack and dropped both games in the doubleheader. MegO and KellyE each battled through injury in gritty efforts on the mound. KellyL had a big day at the plate, going 4-5 in the doubleheader with a double, 2 rbi, and 2 runs. Injuries kept Kate (sprained ankle, in an aircast) and Hillary (knee, getting mri'd back in VT) out of the lineup, causing a shuffle of positions.
