After a 10-day weather layoff, SMC split a frosty double-header with Franklin Pierce, dropping the opener 6-3 in 10 innings and bouncing back to take game two 5-0. (Yes, those are snowbanks over the centerfield fence ...)

Ashley tripled mid-game and then clubbed a clutch 2-out, 7th-inning HR to send game 1 into extra innings. The Ravens ultimately prevailed as they made the most out of their 6 hits, despite 15 strikeouts by Meggan over the 10 innings. In game 2, it was Katy who delivered a HR and SMC started to hit between Ravens, rather than right at the Ravens. Meg O was in great form on the mound, giving up only 3 hits in the shutout. Kater pinch ran in game 1 and warmed up for relief if needed in both games, but Meggan and Meg O were strong on the mound. SMC is now 14-4.
