One of the benefits of being unable to fly home due to the blizzard in the northeast was being able to catch some extra games -- including Kate D's St. Lawrence team as they beat Wisconsin Superior, 3-1. Kate, a Rocket grad who played at Fairfax, had a nice single to center in the game. Their pitcher, Ava from Arlington, Vermont, earned a spot in the gallery with a great effort on the mound, by asking about both Ralph and Meggan at SMC, and by having delightful grandparents.
