MVU Field Hockey, Semifinals '10

Got to photograph the 2010 Vermont Field Hockey semi-final matchup of MVU and Montpelier on a cooooold November afternoon. Montpelier jumped out to a 1-0 lead, but it didn't phase the Thunderbirds. Genny scored to tie it, Camille hammered home the go-ahead, and then she added the insurance goal late. Dakota's hamstring held up as she returned to action, Molly and Kelli were all over Montpelier on defense, Hillary had a great game in goal, and the Thunderbirds played well all around. On to the DIII CHAMPIONSHIP game on Saturday! GO BLUE!!

Steve - you're welcome ... I've always loved the peaceful escape of sports photography, so it is a joy to be able to shoot these Thunderbirds.
