I grew up in Bristol, Vermont ... On West Street when I was little, then off to the Ridge as a teen. Loved it ... Here's a glimpse back in time from an out-and-about in 2010. West Street doesn't look like it did -- used to be white, now it's got commercial space, and the barn has been converted to what looks to be an apartment building. The A-Frame on Monkton Ridge rings familiar, even with its updates, the additional building lot along the ledge, and the horse-ification of the front pastures.
