Here's another fascination of mine ... the moon. The Minolta A1 was brilliant, but undergunned for astronomy work -- the Nikon D300 is better equipped, but still not Hubbelesque -- but I do love the ability to take photos, run in, look at them on the 'puter, run back out, and redo ... This may head off in the direction of a telecoverter or an experiment of shooting through binoculars/telescope or something. I've got to get closer to space!!! Plus, a drive to a darker area of Vermont (not a sinister darker, dimmer darker) (not dimmer dumber, dimmer blacker) might help!
