I skipped the Assumption doubleheader -- to get to see Katelyn's sister Emily make her on-field debut as captain of her lacrosse team (she got two assists as her Comets lost 14-7).

SMC lost a pair at Assumption, 5-0 and 8-7 -- with the second game turning into another of those near-miss nailbiters that have marked this season. KellyL and Heather had doubles in game one, MegO and KellyE each had three hits in game two, and Kater had a single in each game and a few nice running catches in Centerfield as St. Mike's slipped to 7-22 on the season.
