| Los Cabos is at the tip of the Baja California peninsula, where the Sea of Cortes (Gulf ofCalifornia) and the Pacific Ocean meet. It's most famous town, Cabo San Lucas-called"Cabo" Cabo San Lucas Bay, at Land's End one of the most beautiful in NorthAmerica.For centuries, CABO SAN LUCAS was asleepy outpost where not much happened. It wasn't until the late 1940s and '50s that the area became popular, when Hollywood celebrities like Bing Crosby and John Wayne flew down in private planes to fish and hunt at exclusive hideaway resorts.
