Page 1 ~ 11-20 Spikey showed up around 3PM and Precious joined him. 1st time they've been together in a month. The rut must be over...TG cause hunting season starts tomorrow!
11-17 Five deer came for food today; Spikey, Queenie, Fawn, Precious, and Big Mama! (1st time we've seen her this year.)
11-14 Spikey appears finally...after 10 days!

11-08 Precious...coming down to join Queenie (no pics of her today). Continued on Page 2.
Page 2 ~ 11-04 The last time I saw Spikey...I suppose he out rutting now. :(

10-25 Snow! What a subject Spikey has become, the colors of his polished antlers are really amazing, aren't they?
Page 3 ~ 10-23 More visits from all three today, Spikey came several times.
10-21 Queenie made a quick appearance.
10-20 Spikey has been showing up for corn for about a week now. Today, Precious showed up around 12:45 pm, we put corn in the feeder and shortly thereafter Spikey showed up.
......I was concerned about how all the deer would share the feed dish with Spikey safely...but it looks like Precious has it figured out...she just needs to take turns, or make certain she is behind him. They also took turns being lookouts. :)
10-16 Spikey's first visit this season, he was looking for corn...winter is on it's way!
......Guess we shouldn't have named him Spikey as he has developed into a handsome 6 point buck this year...it must be all that corn we fed him last winter, at least 2 - 3 times a day.

I can sympatize with you on the hunting season. I surely hope they will be safe from those killers. I too dread and fear that the deers that I love will be shot down. How anyone would be able to end the life of such beautiful and nice creature is beyond me. Someone must be totaly hearthless to do so.

Thanks so much Tam and JJ! I am already having so much fun with the deer this year, we are praying Spikey makes it through hunting season and feel very blessed to be able to have them as a part of our life.

Tammie...great idea, I'll rename the gallery...it truly is my "Deer" diary. :)

The light and color on these look just about perfect!! Super job! Some great shots added to the "deer diaries"! LOL no pun intended! Great shooting!
