Stormy is a beautiful male llama with, as llamas go, impeccable lineage. The breeder told me that Stormy's grandfather was the highest priced llama ever sold and that Stormy definitely has all the right genes. I thought he stood proudly, yet - maybe because of the huge, beautiful eyes - also seemed vulnerable. The camera made him - and a female named Molly - very curious and they both had to sniff both first the camera and then my breath. "It's how they get to know who you are," Ray, the breeder explained. Apparently the camera and I passed llama approval. Neither Stormy nor Molly spit at me.
