The Homecoming Dance. I've been to more dances since I started working for the paper than I ever went to when I was in school. And, camera in hand, I am more popular than I ever was in high school, too. Back then I was just the weird rowdy girl with an odd sense of humor and an even odder sense of style. Now, the camera is power. "EEEEE!! She took my picture!! I'm going to be in the NEWSPAPER!!" Maybe I should have taken a camera to the dance when I was 16. :-)
