I made a pie the other day, setting it on a baking sheet so it wouldn't spill juice into the oven. It, of course, did put burnt stickiness all over the pan. I left it to soak on the counter - and when I went out into the kitchen later, this is how it looked. I liked the effect enough to photograph it.
