the last hills

I travelled to New South Wales across the inland plain, heading for the hills and mountains of the central east.
The first hills I encountered were in the Hervey Range in Goobang National Park.
In this photo, I am on Burrabadine Peak in that range, looking west across the vast wheatfields of central New South Wales.

well worked terrain...those wheat fields look as if they face a water challenge..

Great shot of this interesting landscape. I’m surprised to see those vast wheat fields in NSW.

Reminds me of driving across Kansas - open flat lands!
