Anarthia scabra

to conclude the D'Entrecasteau National Park gallery, the second of two unusual plants
This one is a sedge-like plant in the obscure family Anarthriaceae. That's obscure even to botanists - it might help that they're related to restiads (Restionaceae).
Anarthria has separate female and male plants. This one is female, and the image is of the flowers.
