The Little Red Flying-foxes are back again, in numbers larger than ever. I'm told by a researcher that they estimated there was a million of them.
They're nectar feeders and have been attracted by an exceptional summer of flowering by a number of eucalypt species.
They're not in my home town this time, but in a little town about 20 km away.
